New Kia Carnival Vans in Bossier City, LA

The All-New Kia Carnival Offers Style and Practicality In Bossier City

The Kia Carnival is what we call an MPV: "Multi-Purpose Vehicle," which is a great way to describe this model. It's similar to both a minivan and an SUV; the Carnival really has the best of both worlds.

This vehicle runs on a 3.5-liter V6 engine. It's able to generate 290 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, meaning that you'll have plenty of power as you drive around the Minden area. Kia has given this model a responsive eight-speed automatic transmission, and front-wheel drive is standard. The Carnival can certainly handle its share of hard work, as it can tow up to 3,500 pounds.

The Carnival looks durable, athletic, and modern. It has a boxier frame that you'd expect from a minivan, but at the same time, the rear doors can slide open to let everyone pile into the back. The length of the Carnival gives it space to accommodate three comfortable rows of seats. Up to eight people can fit in the cabin, though if you get the Carnival SX Prestige trim with VIP lounge seats in the middle row, you'll have room for up to seven people.

Safety Features

In a Kia Carnival, you'll have a lot of peace of mind. That's because it can watch out for problems and actively keep you out of harm's way. One of its most impressive safety systems is Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian Detection. This system can sense when you're approaching objects too quickly. If so, it'll warn you and potentially hit the brakes for you.

Other standard safety features include:

  • Driver Attention Warning
  • Lane Departure Warning
  • Lane Keeping Assist
  • Lane Following Assist
  • Automatic High Beams

Another standard component is a rear-view monitor with parking guidance, and some of the trims have a surround-view monitor. Every trim also has Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist, with most of them coming with Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist.

Trim Levels

The first trim in our lineup is the LX. It has an eight-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™. This can be appreciated when you're traveling and want to stay in touch with your network. Bluetooth®, voice recognition, and USB outlets in every row are all convenient features to have. On the exterior of the LX, there is a rear spoiler with an LED taillight that looks really attractive. The mirrors have turn signals built into them, and the side doors are power-operated.

A similar trim is the LX Seat Package. It has synthetic leather seats instead of cloth ones. Plus, it has heated front seats and a 10-way power-adjustable driver's seat.

The EX is in the middle of the lineup. It has a smart power tailgate and 19-inch wheels. Notably, it has a 12.3-inch touchscreen, SiriusXM, and navigation. These high-tech features are all highly sought after in our area. Wireless charging and tri-zone climate control are some other benefits associated with this trim.

The SX and SX Prestige are the two most premium trims. They both have satin chrome exterior accents that make them look more refined. They come with roof rails as well. These chrome elements look great in contrast with the gloss black wheels. Passengers will appreciate that they have rear entertainment systems and heated and ventilated front seats.

A few things set apart the SX Prestige from the rest. First, it has dual power sunroofs and full LED headlights. It also has a 12-speaker sound system, along with a heated steering wheel and auto-dimming rearview mirror.
