The Kia Sedona Will Give You Freedom on the Roads in Shreveport

If you've been trying to find a three-row vehicle that you and your passengers will be able to take full advantage of, check out the new Kia Sedona. At Orr Kia of Bossier City, we've found that this minivan is a great crowd pleaser, and it can keep everyone from the driver to the kids in the back very happy.

Power & Versatility

The Sedona is powered by a 3.3-liter V6 engine. With this component, you'll have 276-horsepower and 248 pound-feet of torque. Because you'll be able to tow up to 3,500-pounds, you can go on all sorts of adventures while bringing your gear with you. Since the engine is an electronically controlled eight-speed automatic transmission, your acceleration will be nice and smooth. If you wish to be in control over shifting, use the Sportmatic feature that's standard on the Sedona.

No matter where people are sitting in the Sedona, they'll be comfortable. Leg room in the front is 40.9 inches, and it boasts 41.1 inches in the second row and 34.8 inches in the third row. In terms of cargo capacity, you'll have plenty of room to carry your belongings around Stonewall. Behind the third row is a sizable area with a volume of 33.9 cubic-feet. Lowering the second row increases cargo capacity to 78.4 cubic-feet, and if you lower both back rows, you'll have 142 cubic-feet of space.

Available Kia Sedona Model Configurations

At our Kia dealership, we carry four trims of the Kia Sedona. The L is the base model, the LX and EX are the mid-level options, and the SX is the premium trim. Depending on what type of trim you select, you'll have different features inside the cabin and on the exterior of your minivan.

The L has LED turn-signal indicators built into its side mirrors, and it has projector beam headlights to illuminate the roads around Haughton. Inside, it has a seven-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth connectivity, a rear-camera display, and Tricot fabric seats.

In the LX, there are a few noticeable upgrades. First, the driver's seat in this trim is power adjustable, and also, the LX is the trim where the Sedona starts to have seating for eight with an extra middle seat in the second row. Instead of having four speakers as the L does, it has six speakers, and its sliding rear doors are power operated.

The EX takes the rear doors one step further and gives you the option to open them up with your Smart Key. Its other upgrades include heated front seats, leather seating, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and wireless charging.

If you want even more luxury, you'll love the SX. It stands apart from the rest with chrome exterior door handles and a dark metallic mesh grille, and its outside mirrors are heated. Its full set of LED lights is impressive, and you'll find LEDs in everything from the front fog lights to the rear taillights. This is the only trim with a power sunroof and a Smart Power Liftgate. Inside, the infotainment system gets upgraded to have navigation and HD Radio, and the front seats are both heated and ventilated.

Advanced Safety Features

Each of the Sedona models comes with a brake assist system, which ensures that full pressure to the brakes will be applied in emergency situations. They also all have a full suite of air bags as well as a traction control system. At the EX level, you start to see blind spot and rear cross-traffic monitoring, which can help you stay more aware of potential obstacles. The EX comes with many available driver-assist options, which are standard on the SX, and they include forward collision warning, lane departure warning, and driver attention warning.
